The Met Gala 2024 will take place on May 6, to celebrate Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Hollywood stylists are tasked with translating the dress code “The Garden of Time,” inspired by a 1962 short story written by J.G. Ballard. Anna Winter, Vogue’s editor-in-chief and the gala organizer for this year’s event, has stated that guests are encouraged to wear ensembles that reflect “the fleeting quality of time.”
