Ryan Reynolds made a modest impact in the early years of his career as the star of National Lampoon’s last watchable film, Van Wilder. Even in 2004, he was able to make a 2004 cameo in Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle a meme. For a man who made a gross comedy called Waiting he would have to keep doing that up until 2009. Reynolds starred in X-Men Origins Wolverine as the Merc with a No Mouth, and in The Proposal, starring Sandra Bullock. The proposal was not fresh but made a great deal of money. And though everyone dislikes X-Men Origins no one can blame Reynolds.

It’s all part of the charm. Even when a movie is bad, you still like him. This is how his reputation could endure disasters such as Green Lantern or R.I.P.D. while Certified Fresh films like Buried and The Voices reminded the audience that he had the chops for a big star if only he found the right vehicle.

Since then, Reynolds has made several films that have been praised for their satire, including Deadpool. This movie has shattered the fourth wall on several topics, such as the absurdity and glitzy nature of superhero movies, or Reynolds’ Hollywood career. Reynolds’ filmography includes Hitman’s Bodyguard Life and Once upon a Deadpool.

He’s recently gotten Red Note & Adam Project on Netflix, as well as Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard. He’s also convinced Hugh Jackman, who was originally scheduled to return with Marvel’s third Deadpool in May 2024, to join the fold. Here is the list of Ryan Reynolds Movies ranked by My News Cafe:
